my mother-in-law recently completed over 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation treatment for breast cancer, and david and i wanted to send her something to congratulate her on her clean bill of health and perseverance through this trial. so we thought about sending flowers, but then we wanted to be more creative. so we were like, maybe a balloon bouquet? maybe an edible arrangement? (i can't with those, i think they are so silly. i really pride myself on being a thoughtful gift-giver, and i can't see the value in edible arrangements. if you're giving me an edible gift, it better be high in calories or i'm thinking you're sending me a message to drop a couple pounds...)
low and behold, when you've already sent flowers and are looking for a thoughtful gift for your mother-in-law, this kitchen herb wreath is a winner.
i was so excited when creekside farms contacted me and wanted to send me a wreath. these hand-crafted, all natural wreaths are gorgeous and fragrant and make perfect gifts for the upcoming holidays. as soon as i opened the box, the kitchen was filled with the smells of lavender and rosemary and sage and i was down. they last for a couple weeks and can easily be dressed up or down for each season.
