on wednesdays we do get an extra hour in the morning before david has to go to work though! and that extra hour makes all the difference.
we ran some errands at the post office and then pulled out our handy-dandy yelp app (no, yelp does not sponsor these posts...i really just like to eat okay??) and found a little local cafe with rave reviews. it was the cutest little place ever and i was so excited to try it and then after waiting almost a half hour when they told us it would be "just a couple minutes," we realized we were out of time and had to call it a day. until next time, cute little cafe. but maybe be a little bit more realistic with those wait estimates, okay?
our lunch plans were a bust but it was a gorgeous day and we got to soak up some sunshine and play outside with our girl. there is nothing i love more than watching her and her daddy together -- those two have a bond like i will never be able to explain. i've never known a daddy more in love and committed and genuinely interested in his child like this. it's the sweetest bond that makes all the anxieties and worries and sad things inside of me disappear.
