ruffled bikini round-up

last summer the ruffled bikini top was everywhere and i was super bummed to miss out on such a fun trend, but i was breastfeeding and postpartum and you couldn't have paid me to expose my stomach in public. this summer i'm feeling much more confident in my own skin and i am itching to jump on that ruffled bikini bandwagon!

i've gathered a handful of my favorites (all for under $30, of course) from the internet and sharing them here for you today. enjoy those sunny rays of warm sunshine and maybe you're even lucky enough to live close to the ocean...in which case, i am seriously jealous and don't want to talk about it.

i had such a fun day with bleudog fotography and swell beauty salon getting all dolled up for a promotional shoot on the beach. i always tell david that he better start saving for our second wedding/20th anniversary party where i will pretend i'm getting married all over again and get to wear another fancy white dress and go to cake tastings and carry a bouquet. sometimes once is just not enough for a girl...but thankfully i got to wear a flower crown and pretend for a couple hours.

dee from swell beauty was kind enough to lend us her hair and makeup skills and i loved how everything turned out. the pink lip was inspired! her salon is to-die-for cute and steps away from the beach and it's really just about as dreamy as dreamy gets. i learned so many awesome hair and makeup tricks...stay tuned for a glamorous curls tutorial coming monday!!
